The Fall season is just around the corner and we are excited about the fashion trends that are coming down the runway and into our favorite stores. So what can we expect from some of our favorite fashion designers? It’s hard to tell, but you can bet that fashion stylist and blogger, Clarissa V. Pierre, and boutique owner, Qiana Norshea, have the tea on what styles are needed in our closets.

“This Fall, I think every full-figured woman will have denim dresses, moto jackets, and ankle boots in her closet,” says the Brooklyn native, Clarissa.

“Yes, it is all about the denim,” agrees Qiana. “Fashionistas should play with monotone denim looks as well as two toned denim looks and Fall shade prints.”

So who are the designers that will have your closet on point? Both ladies agreed that Eloquii is one of the best designers to gain inspiration and to find clothing that has an amazing fit and up-to-the minute style. “Each piece will have a curvy woman’s closet on fire!” says Qiana.

Besides the denim, Clarissa thinks that high-neck tied collared blouses and A-line skirts will be seen in the office and out on the town. “A good high-neck collar is so sophisticated and classic. You’re going to love it,” she says.

When it comes to standing out in the crowd, the right color can make you the center of attention. Clarissa suggests, “Instead of wearing the color black, opt for red and blue because they are also very flattering colors that can make a FFW look shapely and sophisticated.”

Not into red and blue this season? “I love to see wine colors and olive greens,” Qiana shares. “Mustard and orange colors are also very attractive.”

Clarrisa looks outstanding in print and orange.

If you’re not sure of how to wear these trends, each fashionista had a few fashion tips to share to keep you fashion forward.

“To make the Fall season fashionable and fantastic, be sure to have well fitted undergarments,” Clarissa shares. “You can have on the perfect dress, but if the silhouette is not right, it is not a complete masterpiece.”

“I think that adding a bomber jackets, makes the denim look funky and fabulous!” adds Qiana. “Don’t be afraid to layer pieces for the maximum effect.”
